Runner's Co. - Doral, FL

Around 2 months ago I started running again. In my gym on the treadmill but also outside on the pavement (when you live in downtown Miami it's difficult to run on soft ground).

I decided to follow a strict program by running 3 times per week and I quickly runned 5KM per session. After 3 weeks, I started feeling some pain in both of my ankles and by searching on some running websites and blogs, I found out that it could be because of my shoes that did not fit the way I run and the shape of the sole of my foot.

So I decided to make a visit to a specialised running store next to my working place in Doral: Runner's Co.

The attention that they will give you there is priceless, you have the feeling that they will listen to your needs and will give you the best advices to improve your running experience.

As soon as you walk in, they will offer you to go into the Fitting Lab to see how your weight is distribute directly on the sole of your foot and what kind of runner/walker you are.

After the tests, they will explain to you what type of shoes will fit you the best for the kind of support your need to lower the risk of injuries. I tried different shoes from different brands to see in which one I got the best feeling. I finally went for the Asics one, in which one I was feeling the most sole support and heel cushion (which is what I need for the pain I feel in my ankles).

Prices are competitive and the individual attention is a huge plus.

They have a great selection of products: shoes (classified per foot sole type), running gear, clothes, shorts, all the equipment needed.

I will definitely recommend this place.
